PharmOut offers a series of basic GMP e-Learning modules that are ideal to use for staff inductions.

Introduction to GMP

Provides a simple introduction to the concept of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), discussing aspects of the current PIC/S GMP that are appropriate for operators, cleaning contractors and service staff.

Good Record Keeping

The very practical aspects of the GMP requirements for records. Aimed at Engineering contractors and others who may infrequently work on a GMP regulated site. Covers topics including who is responsible for creating records, how to make corrections and signature requirements.

Good Warehouse Practice

An introduction to Good Warehouse Practice, aimed at new warehouse workers or contractors. Includes topics such as GMP storage requirements, Quarantine areas, packaging and transport.

Good manufacturing practices for functional QC laboratories

An introduction to GMP for QC laboratories, based on the PIC/S guidelines. Covers topics such as the role of the QC lab in GMP and the specific GMP requirements QC laboratory operations must meet. Note that this is not GLP - which is only for pre-clinical laboratory studies. The course is aimed at new laboratory staff or contractors who might visit the laboratory infrequently.

Medical Devices Quality Management- ISO 13485

An introduction to the ISO 13485:2007 standard and how to implement it within a medical device manufacturing site.

Aspectic Processing

Introduces the concept of aspectic processing, how clean rooms work and the expected behaviours within them. Includes topics such as gowning, media fills and cleaning.

 

How to use the modules within your company

These e-Learning modules are web-based, so you can run them on your Intranet or even supply them on a CD to your staff (they'll need to have an Internet connection to do the assessment at the end).

The modules will be branded with your company logo and can be customised with photos of your facilities and your staff, improving trainee engagement.
